Outdoor Activities at Richmond County Schools Cancelled Tonight
Man Charged with Hit-and-Run Death of Pedestrian on Mike Padgett Highway
The Richmond County School System has issued a statement regarding outdoor activities at schools this evening.
“Out of an abundance of caution in advance of severe weather in our area, we are asking all schools to cease all outdoor activities beginning at 6 pm today,” according to a statement from Keisa Gunby, Chief Public Relations officer.
Richmond County K-8, middle and high school students are just wrapping up their first day of school for the new year today.
