Law Enforcement Called to East Aiken School of the Arts
There’s a law enforcement presence at East Aiken School of the Arts on Old Wagener Road in Aiken, but officials aren’t saying why they are there.
A statement on the school’s website reads:
“Law enforcement is responding to a situation on the campus of East Aiken School of the Arts. There are no additional details to share at this time. Updates will appear here as they become available.
As a standard safety precaution, there is no entry allowed onto campus currently. We appreciate your patience and cooperation with this. Ensuring the safety of students, staff and families is our greatest priority now and always. Parents and guardians can also expect direct communications via phone calls and texts once the situation allows.”
