Suspects Sought in Stolen Vehicle Case

Richmond County Sheriff's Office

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is asking for help identifying two suspects who stole a vehicle from a residence in the 1100 block of Nellieville Road.

The theft took place sometime between July 30 and August 5.

A neighbor told the victim she spotted two black males towing the vehicle from the property. But no physical description of the suspects was given.

The stolen vehicle is a beige 2005 Honda Accord with Georgia tag RSM6887.  The owner of the vehicle told deputies she hadn't operated the vehicle since June 2022.

Investigators say the trailer used to steal the vehicle had no sides, a wooden deck, no fenders and no tag. It was pulled by what appears to have been a dark colored Chevrolet pickup truck with a Tonneau-style cover.

Any information regarding the identity of the person who owns the truck or trailer is asked to contact Deputy Thomas Langford. He can be reached at (706) 821-1038. Or any On Call Investigator at the Richmond County Sheriff's Office at (706) 821-1020 or (706) 821-1080.
