Homeless Man Stabbed to Death at Super 8 Motel in Augusta
Richmond County authorities are investigating a deadly stabbing at the Super 8 Motel in the 3000 block of Washington Road late Friday night.
Sgt. John Perry with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a report of a stabbing at 10:04 pm and found the body of a male outside who had been stabbed at least one time. He died at the scene.
Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen identified the man as 37-year-old Terry Maurice Brown. Bowen said Brown was homeless.
The sheriff’s office says the investigation is in the early stages and no further information is available.
