Large Fight Breaks Out at Aiken High School
The new school year just got underway recently in Aiken County and police were already been called to break up a large disturbance at Aiken High School today.
A school resource officer notified Aiken Public Safety officials around 12:30 pm when a large fight broke out in the cafeteria. The brawl spilled outside, with some injuries reported.
Police confirmed all those involved were students and no weapons were involved.
Authorities say several students were taken into custody and it’s possible more arrests are coming.
A statement from Aiken Public Safety said, “The situation is under control at this time and there are no current threats to any students.”
