Downed Power Lines Blocking Portion of Washington Road
All lanes of traffic at the intersection of Washington Road at Skinner Mill Road are blocked for the time being. The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says an 18-wheeler hauling cars clipped one of the power lines as it was turning onto Washington Road. Power lines are currently down in the roadway.
Traffic from the eastbound lanes on Washington Road is being diverted down Warren Road.
Traffic from the westbound lanes is being diverted down Patriots Way.
Plan to take an alternate for the time being if you were planning to travel in that area.
