The 2023-2024 school year is underway, but there are still many jobs that need to be filled in the Richmond County School System.

A walk-in Richmond County job fair will be Wednesday, August 16, to recruit employees for open positions. Recruiters and hiring managers will be on-hand to conduct interviews and discuss open positions.

"We are looking for talented and dedicated individuals to join our high-performing workforce to support the educational offerings and resources required to educate more than 30,000 students.  Our employees are eligible for excellent benefits and we offer professional development and a collaborative work environment," said Dr. Cecil Clark, Richmond County School System Chief Human Resources Officer.

The walk-in Richmond County job fair will be from 9 am until 12 pm. It will take place at the Board of Education Central Office at 864 Broad Street.

Numerous teaching positions are available at all grade levels, in addition to Transportation, School Nutrition and Maintenance openings. To get a list of available jobs go to www.rcboe.org.
