A woman who was kidnapped early this morning in Orangeburg, South Carolina is the target of a search by the Department of Public Safety there.

Authorities say 31-year-old Darlene Baker, was reportedly kidnapped from Dodges Restaurant at 1801 Edisto Drive at 1 am today.  Baker is white, 5'7" and 135 pounds.  Family members say she has a tattoo on her neck of the word "turtle," and an arrow.

Investigators say Baker was reportedly taken against her will in a 2006-2016 white Chevrolet Impala with a factory spoiler.  Authorities say it's believed the vehicle has either a Virginia or North Carolina temporary tag.

The suspect was only identified as "Chris."  He's described as a white male, 29 or 30-years-old, 5'9" and 135 pounds.  Chris has thinning hair and a cross tattoo on his right wrist.
