Busby’s Makes Large Donation to Evans High Athletics

Busby's Donates $50,000 to Evans High School Athletic Program

Rick Busby with Busby’s Heating and Air Conditioning presented a check to Evans High School Thursday in the amount of $50,000.

The contribution was part of a multi-year sponsorship agreement designed to benefit the school’s Athletic Program.

Busby has served for decades on Evans High School’s Career, Technical and Agricultural Education advisory board.  He also has two daughters who graduated from the school.

“Evans High School’s Athletic Program is committed to continued excellence for its student athletes.  Busby’s Heating and Air Conditioning is committed to their four pillars of success:  Quality, Service, Honesty and Integrity,” according to a news release.

You can now find the Busby name atop the scoreboard on the Evans High School football field.

Busby’s Heating and Air Conditioning has been providing HVAC service, sales, repair and installation in the CSRA for over 78 years.

Mary Liz is the News Director and Co-Host of Augusta’s Morning News on WGAC. She spent 11 years as a News Director at an Indiana Radio Station. She has also worked as a former Police and Courts Reporter for The Republic Newspaper and Assistant Marketing Director of Merchants National Bank in Indianapolis. Mary Liz focuses most on local breaking news stories, feature stories on upcoming events, or community-service related organizations and the people who serve them. She has been with WGAC since 1995.
