Austin:I have no idea who originated the term “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” but man, was it in full bloom yesterday in New York City. Robert De Niro. And by the way, I’m not going to be one of these people that says washed-up actor Robert De Niro. Robert De Niro is a fantastic actor, and he was playing a lunatic yesterday absolutely perfectly.
I have no idea what in the world has possessed that man to hallucinate and pontificate so ridiculously on the topic of President Trump, but oh, was he in rare form. I’m sure you’ve seen it. The entire world has seen it.
I pause here for just a moment to remind everyone that Donald Trump was president of the United States for four years. We had no wars. We had no melting of the Constitution. He did leave office even though there was a three hour little disruption there on January 6th. He did leave office without a civil war. He did not order anyone shot. He did not ruin the democracy. He did none of these things.
As a matter of fact, he served with distinction as far as his actual service in office goes. Believe it or not, that’s true. The economy was fantastic, and if it had not been for the Covid outbreak, he would have been widely reelected by a wide margin. No doubt about that.
Folks, “Trump Derangement Syndrome” is real. It’s affecting many that we’ve known and loved through the years. Bear with them. They know not what they do. Ignorant damn fools acting out. God bless them. Whew. And that’s the comment, I’m Austin Rhodes 95.1 FM News Talk WGAC.
