WASHINGTON, DC – MARCH 17: U.S. President Donald Trump speaks to the media during a guided tour of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts before leading a board meeting on March 17, 2025 in Washington, DC. After shunning the annual Kennedy Center Honors during his first term in the White House, Trump fired the center’s president, removed the bipartisan board of Biden appointees and named himself Chairman of the storied music, theater and dance institution. Austin: President Trump is serious about testing the powers of the executive branch constitutionally granted to him when it comes to deportation of people that he believes are dangerous criminals.
Bottom line, there are wildly differing opinions among federal judges when it comes to the president's power, what the Constitution gives him is power to rid the country of these terrible people.
Bottom line, the wildly different opinions seem to be split among those that were selected by Democratic presidents and those selected by Republican presidents. Don't be surprised by this.
Think about the Supreme Court decisions on very important gun issues, for instance, that came down to five, four decisions, five saying one giving one interpretation of the Constitution, four giving another interpretation of the Constitution, which means these differing opinions are going to come up all along the judicial circuit, all along the totem pole as it were when it comes to federal courts.
The issue will never be solved until it hits the Supreme Court. So let's completely bypass this ridiculous waste of time in the lower courts. Every single major issue involving presidential power should go directly, in my humble opinion, to the Supreme Court for as an expedient to expedite, rather, the decision as soon as possible. It's got to be done this way. We are wasting time messing around with the lower courts.
It's gonna be appealed on either side all the way to the top, so let's cut to the chase and get to the top. The sooner, the better. I understand President Trump is pushing everyone's patience here, but the bottom line is he's got very good arguments to make. It's time to take it to the ultimate level of, court review so we can get it over and done with, and we can move on with business.
