President Trump Speaks At The Department Of Justice - aggressive foreign problems

WASHINGTON, DC – MARCH 14: U.S. President Donald Trump speaks during a visit to the Justice Department March 14, 2025 in Washington, DC. As he has used the department to punish enemies, Trump is expected to deliver what the White House calls a law-and-order speech and outline steps he will take to counter “weaponization” of the department. Austin talks about President Trump handling aggressive foreign problems.

Austin: You may not agree with his style, and certainly, at times, the rhetoric can be rough, but, my goodness gracious, President Trump seems to be pretty good these days at handling aggressive foreign problems. When I say aggressive, I'm talking about violent foreign problems.

The Gaza conflict, my goodness gracious, the crazy solution that he offered the Israelis and the Palestinians seems to have ignited a sense of unity and purpose among the Arab nations in the region, and I think they're pretty much taking over what is going to be the solution there. We are watching the end of the Ukrainian-Russian conflict as we speak, which is a very welcome sight.

And now the president is taking on Iran, a serious strike over the weekend in Yemen targeting Houthi terrorist leadership and apparently very, very effective.

It's kinda freaked out the folks in Iran a little bit, and they're making noise about some type of retaliation against American folks. One thing you can say about President Trump, when he strikes out against terrorist units and, let's just say, disruptive forces in the Middle East, he almost always wins, and it looks like he struck a good one in this strike in Yemen.

Bottom line, we have allowed Iranian terrorists and those who helped them to get away with things for many, many years, and this president doesn't seem to allow it. Jimmy Carter started this wonderful tradition back in 1979 when he allowed those responsible for the hostage situation at the US Embassy to basically get away with it. This president ain't about that, and he is going to seek out trouble.

Every time there's an obvious way for him to strike out against it, he is not going to hesitate, and that is a beautiful thing. As he's gonna seek it out, he's gonna seek out an answer to the problem of terrorism. You gotta love the aggressive nature of President Trump. And so far, when he targets these rogue agents abroad, He's pretty good at succeeding, and he's pretty good at walking away the winner. So far so good.

Again, three for three in recent conflict resolution. And that's the comment. I'm Austin Rhodes. 95.1 FM News Talk, WGAC.
