Austin talks about President Trump's joint address to Congress last night and the response from both sides.

Austin: Couple of headlines this morning calling President Trump the most polarizing president in American history, and I can't really say that I disagree with that. Boy, if you like this guy, you really like him, and if you don't like him, you really don't like him.

And no one nowhere was that more plain than last night during the address to the joint houses of Congress. It was really interesting. I've never seen the Democrats, or the Republicans for that matter, stay seated or refuse to acknowledge when the President of the United States walks into the room.

I've seen many Republicans applaud for Obama. I've seen many Democrats applaud for Bush. I've never seen anything like this happen last night. I'm not quite sure where it comes from. I'm not quite sure why the Democrats think it's a good idea to stay seated and refuse to acknowledge the young man with cancer who is recognized as a special honorary secret service agent, or the cadet who, was he's now a cadet, the young man, the high school student who is going to be considered for a position at West Point when President Trump announced last night that he had, in fact, been granted the invitation to West Point, that the entire body should have stood up and cheered.

One side did. The other side didn't. That's where we are now, apparently. Let's dig very quickly, though, to the material items that were mentioned last night.

Peace in Ukraine and Russia is coming. The deal is on the table. Supposedly, Zelensky sent an offer to basically capitulate to the American demands, and President Trump says the Russians are close to a peace agreement themselves. Sounds like one of the major problems in the world solved, thanks President Trump.

And, again, the most overwhelming problem this country has faced in the last five years, ten million illegal aliens coming in during the Biden administration. That onslaught has been completely and totally stopped.

Say what you want to about who likes him and who doesn't like him. The man's getting results. And if you don't like it, well, buckle up, buttercup, because he's gonna be in for another three and a half years.

And that's the comment. I'm Austin Rhodes. 95.1 FM News Talk, WGAC.
