Austin talks about the big showdown between Zelensky and President Trump on Friday.

Austin: The conspiracy theories rolled out in droves after the big showdown Friday between Ukraine, Zelensky, and President Trump. Never seen anything like that play out on live television. It was a first, and I gotta tell you, watching the reaction afterwards was almost as entertaining as the clash itself.

Did JD Vance and President Trump know what was coming, and were they laying in wait for Zelensky? There is some proof that that was the plan or rather there was some indication that they received word that Zelensky was going to try to ambush them and shame them into making a more serious commitment of security forces and perhaps military might in their quest to rid themselves of the Putin invasion.

But the bottom line, America’s only gonna go so far even though we have given them literally billions and billions of dollars in relief. Was there ever any end to that promise of charity? Absolutely, there was. And Zelensky better understand that as the world’s largest welfare recipient, he is in no way in a place to make demands or to shame anyone into further support of his cause.

While what happened to Ukraine is terrible, they are the recipients of everyone else’s largesse, and he needs to understand his role in the world as a welfare queen because that is exactly what he is, and he needs to remember that.
