Austin:It’s one of those headlines when it when I saw I was immediately repulsed. But as I read through the story, I had to agree with it. The liberal Supreme Court justices are absolutely right to say that the state of Texas cannot countermand what the federal government is doing on the border. If, orders are given as to how exactly the law of the land is going to be enforced, Federal law, the state of Texas pretty much has to go along with it.
I hate it from the bottom of my heart. And, folks, the way that we change this is to put the right team in charge of federal border policy. You know, by the way, all the states that talk about, being sanctuary states and it’s okay for the illegal immigrants or the, undocumented immigrants to come to their states, right? All of that was improper and wrong as well. That’s aiding and abetting federal felons that should never, ever, ever have taken place. At the same time, if you’re going to feel that way, which we do, we have to go the opposite direction as well and say that the state of Texas cannot go up and, over litigate well not over litigate, over protect a border that the feds have, lowered the lowered the expectations on as far as security goes. We’re at loose ends here. We’re at odds with federal policy versus state policy.
But let this ruling be very clear. The conservative justices that have gone along with the liberals, this is not acquiescing to that policy. It’s acquiescing to the constitutional authority of the federal government only to handle border security and border issues. Elect the right president. You won’t have this problem. This is what happens when you put liberals in charge of a cotton picking border. Stop it. And we can stop the problems that we have with the border. Period. And that’s the comment, I’m Austin Rhodes, AM 580/95.1 FM News Talk WGAC.
