Burke County Man in Custody for Child Pornography

A Burke County man was taken into custody this morning after a Burke County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team (SRT) executed a search warrant at his home in the 2200 block of Corley Road.

Sixty-two-year-old David Pritchett was charged with multiple counts of Possession of Child Pornography around 9:30 a.m.

Authorities say he had been the focus of a recent investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.  Authorities say they found several laptops and cellular devices that were collected as evidence in the case.

Pritchett was taken to the Burke County Detention Center where he's been charged with 6 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and 2 counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon..
