Trump = Navalny
Austin Rhodes recently made an astute observation on his show about the similarities between Trump and Navalny. You have the Russian dissident who died in prison and the multitude of accusations made against Donald Trump and the similarities between the two political hit jobs.
Austin: I got in a rather terse exchange over the weekend, social media with a dear friend of mine, a man that I have known since I was a little bitty kid. He grew up around the corner from my house. I think the world of him personally, I would trust him with my life, but he and I do not agree on politics and he’s had some real nasty things to say about Trump. And this weekend he made a comment about, you know, the law and order conservatives showing their true stripes because they’re backing this rapist fraudster. And he went through the litany of stuff.
The Correlation
His keen analysis hit the nail on the head about the current media outrage over the death of Navalny and the lack of such over the multitude of accusations against former President Trump. There are many similarities between each kind of political hit job.
Austin: It occurred to me today while I was watching the story on Navalny, I want my friends on the left to understand. That what you think Putin has done to Navalny? We think the deep State has done to Donald Trump. They haven’t killed him. They’d like him to die in prison. I don’t think most of them would would want him to be dead outright. Then he would become a martyr. But they want to lock him up till he dies. There’s no doubt about that. And we believe, many of us, that the charges against Trump have either been way overblown or made up entirely.
I think the rape allegation was made up entirely. I think the bank fraud that he was convicted of up here with a $350 million fine, is one of the most overblown, ridiculous things I have ever seen. First time that law has ever been enforced. And the folks in New York or dancing around like they have taken down Al Capone. And I can’t tell you enough how silly it is when you consider not a single bank that did business with Trump under any of the cases that were examined for these charges filed one complaint against him. They went digging through paperwork to see what they can find.
And I’m not going to sit here and say that that’s not something that you know should never be done. But in the case of a political, personality who’s in the midst of a presidential run, it’s it’s pretty rotten. It’s Third World-ish.
Unprecedented
The lengths that Dems have gone to find some way to disqualify trump from the Presidential election are unheard of.
It reminds me again of what the Vladimir Putins of the world do to their political opponents. They drum up B.S. and, you know, imprison them and/or ruin their lives. And we have seen it happen. We saw it happen with, you know, they’re making a big stink over the weekend, making a big stink about the situation involving, it was the FBI. Filing charges indicting the person who lied, apparently, about the Bidens taking money from the Chinese. And if he lied, then God bless. Go after him with all that you’ve got. If he lied. Punish him.
Where are the prosecutions for the people who lied about Trump and Russian collusion? Where’s the prosecution over the Steele dossier and the allegations of hookers peeing on beds? Where? Where is that? It doesn’t exist. And again, you’ve got a heavy handed one way street when it comes with Trump that you don’t have for any of these other folks and say, well, Trump’s different because, blah blah blah….He’s not that different. No. He’s right. And especially he wasn’t over the Russian collusion baloney.
The Bogus Impeachment
And you have to understand, Adam Schiff and the entire Democrat hierarchy went after him as hard as they could, and they could do nothing to him. They tried to impeach him over a phone call to Ukraine that he knew was being monitored. Trump knew it was monitored. Every every phone call is, that the president’s on. And because some guy in the room says, hey, you can’t do that, that’s wrong.
Nothing is further from the truth. The president’s phone call to the Ukrainian official was completely on the up and up and was of legitimate concern. In other words, it wasn’t like he was making something up. He said, hey, we got some screwy sideways relationships here between some of your top people and some of our top people that used to be in power. We need you to help with the investigation. You know, so help us out here. And they impeached him over that. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me?
So that’s the difference when you see Navalny. And I’m not saying that again, they want Trump murdered necessarily, although I think that if something like that happened, you’d be hard pressed to find a Democrat that was not smiling or laughing inside. But that’s that’s what we, me, I and most of my brethren in the Republican Party think about the B.S. y’all have thrown at Trump or that has been thrown at Trump. So just wanted to share.
Once you make that correlation, you realize that there is no sitting on the fence in this election year. It’s all or nothing at this point.
