Austin: Our friends over at News 12 have come up with quite a story. They've got video that was leaked to them, apparently. Body cam video that shows Richmond County Sheriff's deputies responding to an incident in the Richmond County Jail almost two years ago that has been covered up in hushed up so much to the point that a arrest are taking place because clearly there's illegal activity going on on behalf of the officers shown on the videotape, roughing up and almost torturing some Richmond County prisoners who vandalized the jail pod.

But again, that no one knew about this for almost two years. Who in the world is in charge over there? What in the hell is going on? The feds supposedly have gotten an idea of what's going on in there. They're looking into it. Or so I've been told. I mean, it is a royal mess.

If you haven't seen the story that broke yesterday. And again, it's an issue that has been developing over the last couple of days. You need to check out the piece I've linked to it at the Austin Rhodes show page. What are we up to? Almost half a dozen officers.

Again, this is an arrest that is taking place over an incident that occurred almost two years ago, that the sheriff's department claimed they had no knowledge of who is running the operation over there. What in the world is going on? And again, is it time for the Justice Department to shut down the Richmond County Jail or completely take it over?

What a mess. Yeah, we knew the sheriff needed 200 more beds. Is he going to end up filling them all with former jailers and deputies? If you don't think leadership changes needed to the Richmond County Sheriff's Department, you have serious mental issues. Check out that report and I'll link it at the Austin Rhodes Show page. Good work, Channel 12. Thank goodness someone's leaking video to the media. Maybe some change can take place.

Good God and heaven bless the folks that have to deal with the trash. The idiots that are in charge of the Richmond County Sheriff's Department. Unbelievable. And that's the comment, I'm Austin Rhodes. AM 580/95.1 FM News Talk WGAC.
