Leesville Woman Killed in Motorcycle Wreck in Aiken County
A Leesville, South Carolina woman has died as a result of an accident Sunday afternoon involving two motorcycles.
The wreck was reported at 4 pm on New Holland Road near Toy Road in the Wagener area. Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables says 65-year-old Jenny Massey was riding a 2015 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when it collided with another motorcycle.
Massey was transported to Prisma Health Richland where she died Tuesday as a result of her injuries.
Toxicology analysis is pending. There’s no word on the condition of the other rider.
The Aiken County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
