Update: Teen Identified as Latest Homicide Victim in Richmond County
Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen has released the identity of the person shot and killed late last night in the 500 block of Aiken Street.
Fifteen-year-old Jabari Webb of Walker Street was shot at least one time. Deputies were called to the scene around 11:3o p.m. Webb was taken to Augusta University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 1:02 this morning.
Bowen said an autopsy has been scheduled.
Richmond County investigators haven’t released any information yet about the shooting.
