Shooting at Smart Grocery on Wrightsboro Road
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office was called to Smart Grocery at 3221 Wrightsboro Road at 11:30 this morning to a report of a shooting.
Deputies found a male who had been shot at least one time. He was taken to Augusta University Medical Center for treatment of what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries.
“The investigation is in its early stages, and no further information is available for release,” according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.
