One Dead, Two Injured in Fatal Aiken County Crash
A two-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon left one person dead and two others injured.
Authorities responded to the accident on Salley Road at South Dixie Road around 2 pm.
The person killed in the crash was a passenger in an SUV that was struck by a Ford van. The victim, whose name has not been announced, died at the scene.
Both drivers were transported to Augusta University Medical Center where they are reported to be in critical condition.
