Man Wanted For Theft at Culvers in Grovetown
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying a man who wound up pocketing some cash while confusing a worker at Culvers restaurant on Gateway Boulevard in Grovetown.
The manager told authorities the suspect ordered a soft drink and handed the employee a $100 bill. “The older man started to pull more money out of his pocket to change the bills for exact change in $20 bills and started to confuse the employee,” according to the incident report.
The suspect then took the $100 bill and put it back in his pocket as well as all of the change from the cashier.
He left in a silver Acura MDX.
