Reward Offered for Information in 2016 Murder Case in Burke County
A cash reward is now being offered for information leading to an arrest in a nearly seven-year-old murder case in Burke County.
The Burke County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for the person or persons responsible for the death of Daniel Phalon Triplett in 2016. Triplett’s body was found on H. Berol Road at Middleground Road in Waynesboro on December 28 that year. He had been shot at least one time. Triplett’s body was found by personnel from the Department of Natural Resources.
The case has never been solved and investigators are still asking for information leading to an arrest in the case.
