GOOD VIBES: 10-Year Old Boy Cleans Snow Off Of Hospital Workers’ Cars
Christian Stone is described by his family & friends as wise beyond his years, and it’s not hard to see why. When a snowstorm covered his Rhode Island hometown, Christian’s first thought was about healthcare workers at the local hospital.
“They’ve been helping us a lot through this whole pandemic,” Christian told his local CNN affiliate, WJAR News. “I figured why don’t we help them, you know?” Christian got a few of his friends together, and they headed to the hospital parking lot for shift change.
As they saw cars start remotely, or workers headed to their cars, Christian and his friends would rush to the vehicles to clean the snow off before the owner approached. “All day, every day the nurses here, they deal with the pandemic like COVID and they want to get home from work, so we thought we would make it a tiny bit easier for them by cleaning off their cars for them,” Christian said.
Christian says that braving the cold was worth it. “It’s been cold but extremely fun seeing how happy they get,” he said. “I’m just really happy to see them happy.”
