Pedestrian Struck and Killed this Morning in Richmond County
Swint "Porky" Bradberry Murdered
A pedestrian was killed when he was hit by a car early this morning on Highway 56 at Phinizy Road.
Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen said male victim was walking in the southbound lane when he was hit by a southbound vehicle. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:57 a.m.
Bowen said the man’s name will not be released until positive identification can ben made. An autopsy has been scheduled.
