Man Shot and Killed On Chapman Street in Augusta Has Been Identified
Homicide Investigation Underway in Richmond County
A man shot and killed Thursday at an apartment complex in Augusta has been identified.
Richmond County Deputies were called to the 700 block of East Chapman Street at 7:30 pm.
They discovered a male victim who had been shot.

Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen said 27-year-old Zaytreonta Boyd of Augusta was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy has been scheduled.
Richmond County investigators say no other information about the shooting has been released yet.
