Vince Dooley Services Private, Celebration Of Life Will Be Announced
Funeral services for Vince Dooley will be private. The University of Georgia made the announcement on Sunday on behalf of the Dooley family. There will be a public celebration of life. It will be announced at a later time.
The family requests memorials to the following organizations:

- The Georgia Historical Society Vincent J. Dooley Distinguished Fellows Program, One Baltimore Place NW, Suite G300, Atlanta, GA 30308
- Champions Community Foundation, 2850 Old Alabama Road, Johns Creek, GA 30022
- The Catholic Center at the University of Georgia, 1344 S. Lumpkin Street, Athens, GA 30605.
Governor Kemp released this statement: “Throughout his years on and off the field he inspired his players and all those who knew him to be better, stronger, and more accomplished versions of themselves. His character and work ethic not only ensured the Georgia Bulldogs met with success.”
