Kidnapping and Assault Suspect Wanted In Richmond County

A kidnapping and assault suspect is being sought by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators are looking for 25-year-old William Walter Thomas of Augusta in connection with the alleged incident reported Saturday, March 1, in the 2700 block of Deans Bridge Road.
Kidnapping and Assault Suspect Description
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has released a description of William Walter Thomas:
- Black
- 6’7″
- 270 pounds
- Thomas is known to frequent the area of Gordon Highway near the Old Regency Mall and Kissingbower Road
Investigators say Thomas should be considered armed and dangerous.
