Braves Home Run Ball in Pittsburgh Finally Recovered From Allegheny River
Atlanta Braves star Matt Olson is still making headlines in Pittsburgh. Rewind back to August 24th. Olson ripped a grand slam in the Braves 14-2 win over the Pirates at PNC Park. The home run ended up in the nearby Allegheny River.
According to the Pirates, only 44 home runs balls had ever made it that far in stadium history. Olson is the first Braves player to do so, and became lucky 45.
