Three Wanted In Theft By Deception Case At Augusta Store
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office needs help identifying three men who are wanted in a recent Theft by Deception incident at a local store.
It happened on December 8 at White Horse Wine and Spirits at 497 Highland Avenue.
According to the incident report from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, three unknown black males entered the store around 5:30 pm. They purchased over $2,000 worth of alcohol with a credit card. The store manager told police they left the scene in a dark-colored vehicle. It was later reported to be a black 2022 Hyundai Genesis with the GA tag SCM4699.
White Horse Wine and Spirits was notified later that the three men had refuted charges to their credit card and reported it as fraud.
According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the three suspects returned to the liquor store later that evening and tried to purchase more alcohol. That’s when employees got the tag number on the vehicle and reported it to police.

- Black male, heavy-set wearing a light-colored hoodie with a dark-colored baseball cap.
- Black male, thin-build wearing a red hoodie with a dark-colored baseball cap.
- Black male, medium-build wearing a gray hoodie and light-brown baseball cap.
