Man Wanted in Sexual Battery Incident at Augusta Gas Station
A man is being sought for questioning in a sexual battery incident that took place at Wally’s Gas Station at 4250 Windsor Spring Road on March 20.
At 2:45 pm, the 35-year-old female victim said she was pumping gas into containers when an unknown male walked up to her and touched her buttocks.
The victim said she took the gas hose and sprayed the suspect, prompting him to walk away. The woman called 911 and said she then saw the suspect sitting at a church nearby. He left, then returned to Wally’s Gas Station wearing different clothing and carrying a knife.
The Threat from the Suspect
The victim told police when the suspect returned, he told her he was “going to kill her and I’ll have a shoot out with the police.”
Witnesses at Wally’s reportedly told the suspect to leave.
