This Is Seamus – Look At That Face
This is Seamus, he’s available for adoption at the Aiken County Animal Shelter! Look at that face!
Seamus has never had the life he deserves. He is a sweet and gentle hound, and he came from a hoarding situation where he got no attention. He’s hoping it’s not too late to write a whole new story.
Despite that, he will cover you in kisses, wagging his tail as he’s watching life though the kennel bars. He’s about 7 years old. He loves everyone, all the time. He’s used to living with several other dogs. He walks perfectly on his leash and doesn’t go potty in the kennel. The folks at the shelter don’t think he’s ever been inside, until coming to the shelter.
He will thank you every day for giving him a home. The shelter is looking for a loving home of ease and comfort for him. Seamus is ready to give you his whole heart. He weights about 60lbs.
He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped he has heartworms but treatment will be provided at no cost to you.
His adoption fee is $35.

Smithsonian National Zoo, Washington, D.C.
The Smithsonian National Zoo sits on 163 acres in the heart of Washington, D.C.’s Rock Creek Park. Founded in 1889, the Zoo is currently home to more than 2,700 animals representing more than 390 species. Like all Smithsonian museums, admission is free. A popular feature of the zoo is its endangered giant pandas which include adults Tian Tian and Mei Xiang and one-year-old Xiao Qi Ji. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the zoo with the Animal Adventure Guide or spend some time chatting with the animal keepers at the Great Ape House. You can also get up close and personal with the American farm animals at the Kids’ Farm.
