Austin: [00:00:00] If you are able to hear my radio show yesterday afternoon, you get a little more detail on this strange person at the Kroger in Grovetown who, last week, decided to grab a seven year old child and attempt to drag him off while his parents, or his mother at least, watched in abject horror. Again, responding in a strange way. She did get the child back and she did alert store officials there at Kroger as to what was going on.
But for some strange reason, they let the man walk away and did nothing to stop him or identify him or anything. He literally walked out of the store. When the authorities were finally tipped off. Get this, the mother calls after she gets home. They look at the videotape and they certainly see that something very strange and very illegal happened involving this man.
The bottom line is this if you are a parent and you see a small child that belongs to you attempting to be dragged off by someone, scream, holler, throw a fit, whatever you have to do, number one, to secure your child. Number two, identify the culprit immediately. Are you kidding me? She let him walk away.
The people at Kroger let him walk away. Bystanders let him walk away. How the hell does that happen? If that had taken place with my wife and my child when he was seven, she’d have grabbed a can of cream corn and beaten the man to death right there in the produce section.
And by the way, you don’t want to know what I would have done to him. It is unreal to me that somebody let this elderly man walk away untouched. You stop him. By all means, get the cops there and let them handle it. You do not let him walk off. And you certainly don’t wait till you get home to call the sheriff’s department. That Kroger let that happen is also incredibly bizarre.
Now, supposedly this guy’s got some developmentally disabled condition. I have no earthly idea what’s wrong with him, but he needs to be cordoned off. People need to be protected from him, period. And the way that that starts is to identify him. His picture is at the Austin Rhodes Show page on Facebook and at WGAC.com. You got to stop these people in the act to not ever let someone who does what that man did walk away. Are you kidding me? And that’s the comment, not a comment, that’s damn good advice.
