Shooting In Louisville, One Person Dead
A shooting in Louisville has left one person dead. According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, four people people were shot during a block party.
One of the the victims died at the Jefferson County Hospital. The other was treated and released. Two other victims were in stable condition at the Augusta Trauma Center.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page, “Based on evidence recovered from the scene, several weapons were fired numerous times striking the victims and several vehicles. More than one hundred people were present at the time of the shooting.”
Officials are not releasing the identity of any victims from the shooting in Louisville while the investigation continues. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the investigation.
