Braves Lead The National League East
The Braves lead the National League East. But lets go back to June 1. The New York Mets had a commanding lead over the Braves and everyone else in their division. Two days prior to that, the Braves added Michael Harris II and Spencer Strider to the roster.
Since that time, Atlanta improved on offense with just over 5 runs per game, the best in the league. It all paid off on Friday night. when they beat the Seattle Mariner 6-4. The Braves lead the National League East. The Mets have struggled lately losing 4 of their last 6 games, including a 6-3 loss to the Miami Marlins on Friday.
Here is a snapshot of the National League East Standings as of Saturday morning.
