Evans Man Wanted for Terroristic Threats and Stalking

An Evans man wanted for allegedly threatening and stalking his former wife has threatened to take their children.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is looking for 30-year-old Robert E. Hutchinson III AKA "Reht."

Hutchinson's former wife, Sydney Stanley, told deputies he calls her repeatedly and had sent text messages saying he was on the way to her house.

"Ms. Stanley also stated that Mr. Hutchinson told her he was going to take the kids and that she should be scared. He also mentioned he was going to bring a chainsaw when he got to her residence," according to a Richmond County Sheriff's Office incident report.

It was noted in the report that Hutchinson is not allowed to be near the children due to a current protection order.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is asking for help finding a teenager who has been missing for months.

They're still looking for 13-year-old Jahmani Barker of Augusta. Barker was last seen December 9, 2023 running from her home in the 3000 block of Spicewood Drive. Authorities say Barker is a frequent runaway. She has no known medical problems.
