John Patrick’s “Rescue Of The Week”; Violet
So it’s time for another “Rescue Of The Week”. Meet Violet.
Violet is a 19 month black lab, and weighs 50lbs. She is a little shy/timid at first glance, but she is so….loveable.
She is excellent on a leash (until she decides she wants a quick belly rub and plops down, rolls on her back, and waits for the rub.
If it’s mom, dad and the kids taking her for a walk, she’ll want to be close to the kids. She loves children and is super gentle with them.
She doesn’t seem to be interested in toys or may not have much exposure to them. She does like to explore the great outdoors.
She gets along with other dogs and seems ok with cats.
She’s up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped and HW tested(-)
If you would like to meet Violet, come to the Augusta Animal Services on Mack Street. The shelter is open 11am-4pm Monday through Friday. Noon-4pm on Saturday.
