Last Weekend For Early Voting in Georgia Is Here
The last weekend for early voting for the November 5 General Election has arrived. If you live in Columbia County, you can vote Saturday, but Richmond County residents have Sunday voting hours too at one location.
Early voting ends next Friday, November 1, in Georgia. In South Carolina, Saturday, November 2, is the final day to cast an early ballot there.
Friday, October 25, was the last day to submit an absentee ballot application if you need to receive a ballot through the mail
Last Weekend for Early Voting in Columbia County
Columbia County has three early voting locations:
- Board of Elections Office in Building G-3 on Ronald Reagan Drive in Evans
- Former Euchee Creek Library in Grovetown
- Columbia County School District Support Complex on River Watch Parkway
Saturday hours are 9 am to 6 pm.
*Starting Monday, October 28, hours will be extended to 8 am to 6 pm for the final week of early voting. It ends Friday, November 1.
As of Friday, October 25, more than 38,000 residents had voted early in Columbia County.
Last Weekend for Early Voting in Richmond County (including Sunday)
Richmond County has four early voting loations:
- Richmond County Board of Elections Office at the Municipal Building on Telfair Street
- Henry Brigham Center on Golden Camp Road
- Robert Howard Community Center in Hephzibah
- Warren Road Recreation Center on Warren Road
Saturday hours are 8:30 am to 6 pm
- Sunday, October 27, voting is only available at the Richmond County Board of Elections Office at the Municipal Building. Hours are 8:30 am to 6 pm.
As of Friday, October 25, nearly 33,000 residents had voted early in Richmond County.
Last Week of Early Voting Begins October 28
The last week of early voting begins Monday, October 28, in Georgia.
In Columbia County, the three voting locations remain the same, but hours are extended to 8 am to 6 pm.
In Richmond County, the four voting locations remain the same, and hours will be from 8:30 am to 6 pm.
Early voting across the state ends Friday, November 1.
There will be no voting Monday, November 4.
Polls will be open on Election Day Tuesday, November 5, from 7 am until 7 pm.
