Woman Fatally Shot on Dan Bowles Road Has Been Identified
A woman was found unresponsive on Dan Bowles Road overnight in Richmond County has been identified.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 200 block where the female was pronounced dead at 2:45 am today.

Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen says 53-year-old Monique Hawes of Madrid Drive was shot at least one time.
An autopsy has been scheduled.
The investigation is in the early stages and no other information has been released yet.
