Austin talks about the hatred for Donald Trump and the media coverage.
Transcript:
Austin: It’s a constant truth that we’ve known for years, but man, it really has manifested itself in ways that I didn’t quite anticipate. The hatred, the utter hatred for Donald Trump by mainstream media and the way that it shows up in the coverage of this current presidential race.
Yesterday, Rachel Maddow made the highlight reels on all of the talk shows by admitting during the Iowa caucus returns that they were not going to show live remarks from Donald Trump because he cannot be trusted to tell the truth. And it was MSNBC’s responsibility, Rachel told us, to guard you from such false information. They’re a news organization, you say, and we just cannot be putting someone on the air who can, uh, tell such lies so easily and literally with every word they say.
Unbelievable. Like I said, the folks on the right had a heyday replaying that clip over and over and over again. Who does MSNBC think they are? And oh, by the way, if you’re going to start, um, censoring people because they don’t tell the truth, when is someone going to start following Joe Biden around with a big censor, uh, blanket and throw it over his head every time he opens his mouth? I mean, he the man tells so many lies. It’s not even funny. And he has been doing it for quite some time.
How about all the folks who told lies about Donald Trump being associated with Russian hookers, uh, wetting a bed that Obama once slept in? What about? What about. I’m laughing. Thinking about how many lies do people have to tell before MSNBC crawls in and protects you from them? My goodness gracious. So all the politicians in Washington, DC can get away with murder all they want to, but Donald Trump is the one they’re going to protect you from. The bias is unbelievable. And you wonder why conservatives double down on the man. That’s why. Idiots galore. And that’s the comment, I’m Austin Rhodes AM 580/95.1 FM News Talk WGAC.
