Grovetown Chick Fil A is Closing This Month but Don’t Worry it’s Not Forever
Chick-fil-A in Grovetown is closing, but only for a limited amount of time! They will be remodeling their drive-thru from October 16- November 14.
Remodeling will consist of adding a third lane to the current two-lane drive-thru. But it’s not just any regular drive-thru, it will be the mobile-thru. This new drive-thru will be fully dedicated to those ordering ahead on the app. This means if you have placed your order through the Chick-fil-A app, you will be able to go through that line for faster service. The app is free to download. You will still be able to receive your points when ordering and picking up this way.
How will it work?
You will choose your restaurant location (and in this case, it would be in Grovetown). Then you will click “Mobile Thru” as the pickup destination. Next, you would place your order.
Once you arrive at the restaurant, you will follow the signs that are pointing to the mobile-thru lane. There will then be a QR code along the line for you to check in with for your order. Finally, after checking in you will pull up and receive your meal from a Chick-fil-A team member.
Are any other locations adding this to the CSRA?
While Chick-fil-A’s across the state have already implemented this new concept, so far this will be the only mobile drive-thru in the market. It probably won’t be long before the other Chick-fil-A’s will have to close down shop to implement this new driveway.
This is a big step for Chick-fil-A, just continuing to show their growth. Chick-fil-A’s across the nation has put on different events to celebrate the mobile thru. No promises but hopefully the Grovetown location will celebrate in a big way – maybe even with some freebies.
Again, they will be closed from October 16 – November 14.
