Austin talks about our dependency on foreign oil.

Austin: [00:00:00] Out of control inflation is affecting Americans and their way of life in ways that folks we haven’t seen in quite some time. And all of this really started, if you go back and take a look at where the inflation really started creeping in is when gas prices went through the roof a few years ago.

Right now, gas prices are incredibly high. And with the Saudis looking us dead in the face saying that they are cutting production and keeping production low as a result of their own whims, it’s going to do nothing but get ridiculously higher. Folks, if you have ever had doubts that the Republicans are wrong about energy, well, you need to rethink that because they are dead set against the policies that Democrats are just happy with, and that’s allowing foreign nationals to control the energy market globally.

You remember Donald Trump, Drill, baby, drill? I mean, every square inch of American territory in North American territory, Canada, United States, Mexico and anyone in South America that wants to participate. We need to be drilling, drilling, drilling and refining that oil into gasoline right here in our own backyard. We have to take the foreigners out of this conversation.

Sorry, we have depended on them far too much. They have manipulated prices in ways that have just absolutely devastated our economy. It is time to throw them out of the equation. America needs to be completely energy self-sufficient. We need to do away with every bit of foreign oil import that we can possibly deal with and again, produce enough not only to cover our own needs, but the needs of our allies as well.

That’s the difference between Republicans and Democrats. And if you don’t see that you’re not looking and you’re not very bright. Wake up, America. It’s killing us at the at the gas pumps right now, and it’s killing us in our wallet every day. And that’s the comment, I’m Austin Rhodes, AM 580/95.1 FM News Talk WGAC. [00:00:00][0.0]
