Security Federal Robber Apprehended
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office says a suspect in the holdup at Security Federal Bank in Graniteville earlier this month is now in custody.
Investigators arrested 73-year-old Lucky Wallis Turner of Graniteville at 11:40 am today. Authorities executed a search warrant at Turner’s home in the 700 block of Leitner Street at 10:33 am. He was taken into custody without incident and will be charged with four counts of Kidnapping, Robbery of a Financial Institution, and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime.
Turner was wearing a wig and gloves when he allegedly robbed Security Federal Bank on 50 Canal Street in Graniteville at gunpoint on July 7. Witnesses said they saw him leave in a light gold Ford Explorer.
