Missing Augusta Man Found in Alabama
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says an elderly Augusta man who was reported missing by his family June 17 has been found in Selma, Alabama.
Ed Julius Hicks told his family in late May he was going to stay with his son in Northport, Alabama. At one point, he was spotted in Jefferson County pushing a bicycle with a poodle in the basket. As of June 17, Hicks’ family said he hadn’t arrived in Northport yet and reported him missing.
Authorities say Hicks was spotted in Selma by authorities there and has been returned to his family in Alabama.
