Freightliner Refrigerated Box Truck Overturns on I-20 WB exit ramp to Bobby Jones Expressway EB
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says the I-20 westbound exit ramp to Bobby Jones Expressway eastbound is completely closed for the time being due to an accident earlier this morning.
It happened around 11:00 a.m. when the driver of a Freightliner refrigerated box truck lost control on the ramp. The truck hit the barricade wall and overturned. The driver suffered minor injuries, but was not taken to the hospital.
The sheriff’s office says the ramp will stay closed while crews work to recover the vehicle.
