Augusta Entertainment Complex Names New General Manager

Augusta, Ga. (October 27, 2022) – OVG360, which manages the James Brown Arena and Bell Auditorium, has announced Brian Martin as the facilities’ new General Manager. Martin, who waspreviously the General Manager of OVG360-managed American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas,
will officially start this week.
In his new role, Martin will oversee booking and daily operations of the Augusta Entertainment Complex, which is comprised of the James Brown Arena and Bell Auditorium.
On returning to Augusta, Brian Martin said, “I’m excited to have the opportunity to come back to a community that is near and dear to my heart. I’m looking forward to leading the success story that is the Augusta Entertainment Complex. We have a great team in place and with the continued support of
the Augusta-Richmond County Coliseum Authority Board, City of Augusta and the regional community; we will grow our business by booking great events and providing an unparalleled level of customer experience.”
Martin has worked in the sports and entertainment industry since 2008, when he kicked off his career with OVG360 at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina. He then served two different stints at the Augusta Entertainment Complex, followed by a five year term as the Assistant General Manager
at the Macon Centreplex before leaving to become the General Manager in Corpus Christi.

A Columbia, South Carolina native, Martin graduated from University of South Carolina with a degree in Sports Management. He and his wife Marianne are settling in as they have just completed their move back to Augusta, with their dog Ollie.
