Weekdays 5:30AM-8:45AM

This week’s “Rescue of the Week” is Tucker.

Tucker’s Particulars

Let me tell you about Tucker, he’s a 45lb., 4 year old, smooth coat, collie mix.

He LOVES his toys!  Right now, he does ok on his leash and he will get better the more he gets taken on walks.  He loves affection and gently stands for hugs and kisses.  He loves a good chest rub, or he might just sit down right next to you for a little R&R.

When he plays, he can be a little rambunctious and may not be suited for a family with very young children, as he might, accidently knock them over.

Tucker is a gentle, loving boy who on occasion, lets his happiness get the best of him.  He gets along with other dogs and seems to be ok with cats.  If you have a furry friend at home that needs a playmate bring them with you for a meet and greet.

Tucker is more than ready to come home

Tucker is up to date on shots, he’s neutered, microchipped and heartworm tested (-).  If you would like to meet him, visit Augusta Animal Services, Monday through Friday from 11am-4pm and on Saturday from Noon-4pm.

His adoption fee is $65.
