Augusta Mall Shooting Today, the Second in Two Months

Today's shooting at Augusta Mall comes a little more than two months after shots were fired at Dillard's, leaving at least one person injured.

Richmond County authorities arrested 24-year-old Tybrea Elester Nicole Nelson for her role in the shooting and charged her with two counts of Aggravated Assault.

Days later, a drug bust at a home on Webster Drive led to the arrest of two more suspects believed to have been involved in the mall shooting.

Jerry "Jaybo" Jackson was charged with Unlawful Criminal Street Gang Activity, Trafficking Fentanyl, Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.

Victoria Griffin was charged with Trafficking Fentanyl, Trafficking Cocaine, two counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, and Possession of Marijuana with intent to Distribute.

Richmond County Investigators said the home was a safe haven and drug distribution spot for members of the Loyalty Over Everything criminal street gang.
