Man Sought in Attempted Armed Robbery at Credit Union
Authorities at the Augusta University Police Department are on the lookout for a man who tried to rob the Health Center Credit Union in the 1400 block of Walton Way today.
A black male, believed to be in his late 50s or 60s, reportedly passed a note to the teller demanding cash. He was wearing a denim jacket, carrying a red bag and had a white cloth covering his head. He left empty-handed.
The credit union is in Augusta’s medical district in an area under the jurisdiction of Augusta University Police.
